Our Story

Prospect Consulting was formed in 1993, primarily concentrating on the provision of recruitment services for the mining and resources sector. Over the next few years, Prospect diversified into becoming a management consultancy through the amalgamation of recruitment services, management consulting services, and psychometric assessments while still maintaining the focus on the mining and resources industry.

Since 1993, the Prospect team has grown to a staff of 25 full time employees across the roles of recruitment consultants, organisational psychologists, and management consultants, including a support team of four. Prospect has also opened an office in Newcastle to service the Hunter Valley market.

Due to the focus on the mining and resources sector, Prospect have been able to maintain long-term business relationships with many clients in the Australian and Queensland markets. Prospect has consistently worked with the larger mining organisations such as Xstrata Coal, Anglo Coal, Vale, BMA, BHP, and Rio Tinto in both a recruitment and management consulting capacity.
